| Mathematical models of evapotranspiration require surface and satellite
observations of environmental parameters. This automated ground meteorological station is
mounted on a tripod at a height 3 meters above ground. The station records wind speed, air
temperature, and air humidity fluctuations several times a second. The data is
electronically transferred to a recorder on the ground (sheltered inside the box). The
station is located near the boundary of a forest and a grass field. |
