WinVICAR
WinVICAR is a collection of approximately 150 programs developed for
processing of image data on the Windows platform. WinVICAR is a derivative of
the
VICAR package developed for image processing on the Unix and VAX/VMS
platforms. The programs in the WinVICAR package can be run either at the command
prompt or via a graphical user interface (GUI).
Although the WinVICAR package contains numerous general purpose image
processing programs for completeness, its primary purpose is to provide software
developed at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory for the analysis of data from the
NASA family of airborne and spaceborne imaging spectrometers to users of those
data.
Of particular interest to ASTER users are programs to process, calibrate, and
do good things with MASTER aircraft data; a series of programs to convert ASTER
HDF data to other formats (GeoTIFF, binary, etc.), re-project data, and adjust
the latitude/longitude coordinates in the HDF metadata files.
